DO YOU RECOGNIZE THIS?
When you were promoted to your current job that you’ve wanted for so long, you didn’t really take the time to celebrate because you were so focused on how to prove that you were capable of doing the job.
When your manager schedules an unexpected meeting with you, you immediately start worrying about what you've done wrong, and how you could fix it. As always, it turns out that she just wanted your valuable input on an urgent matter, and you feel embarrassed about making such a fuzz about it.

As you will be applying your insights from the Lead Your Way program directly in practice, you will soon start to experience more flow and impact in your work.
The program consists of:
A kick-off session, in which we set your personal goals for the trajectory
6 biweekly 1:1 coaching sessions
Exercises and recordings to expand on the insights from the sessions
Tools for applying the learnings from the sessions in your day-to-day
2 hours of on-the-fly support between sessions via email/whatsapp.
The sessions will be scheduled based on your availability. It is therefore possible that the program is shorter or longer than 2 months.

MY PERSONAL JOURNEY
In 2012, I was diagnosed with a boreout - a complete mismatch between who I was as a person and the job I was doing.
From the outside, it looked like I was on a roll. I was performing well at work, and I was frequently praised for my intelligence, assertiveness and independence.
Three months into the job, I was advizing the CEO of the 4000-employee company on his communications strategy, and two months later I was invited to the company’s leadership program as the only junior employee.
I thought I was invincible. Until I scored a 1 out of 5 for authenticity on a performance review.
And then it hit me.
I was trying so hard to do what I thought was expected of me, that I had completely lost myself.
Whereas I normally am a bundle of energy, I now felt exhausted. I was always optimistic, and now everything seemed to be heavy and difficult. I felt so much resistance to work that I called in sick, and stayed home for months.
It was one of the darkest times of my life, but throughout that whole period, I also felt a glimmer of hope. I felt I was learning something important, even though it was incredibly hard.
I learned that true confidence comes from the inside, and that trying to live up to external expectations had hurt me much more than it helped me.
Fast forward to now
I am now more confident than ever, both in my work as a leadership coach and as a mom of two girls, and my work is a huge source of inspiration and energy. Having a healthy work-life balance comes quite naturally to me these days.
I no longer try to be picture perfect, but instead embrace my quirks and even make them part of my strategy.
And whereas I always thought of women’s networks as boring tea parties for women to complain about how the patriarchy makes them miserable, I am now the proud co-founder of the WOMEN’S HUB Zurich, where women come to become the boldest, truest version of themselves - whatever that looks like for them.
MY VISION ON WOMEN LEADERSHIP
I hate to see so many women fall into the insecure overachiever trap. They look confident on the outside, but on the inside they are constantly overcompensating and overthinking in order to achieve the absurdly high standards they set for themselves, and they lose themselves -and their colleagues- in the process.
I want to live in a world where women feel naturally confident at work, and rediscover their natural talent to connect and collaborate with others, rather than being lived by their to do list.
I also believe that even though many of us feel a longing for confident women to lead us, there is a common disbelief that embracing feminine leadership qualities can’t make individuals or companies successful.
And I will happily prove us wrong.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME
I am quite comfortable with being uncomfortable. I often dive into something new without fully knowing what I am doing. And I want the same for my clients. I hate it that we humans so often hold ourselves back because we are afraid that we’ll fail, or because we’re trying to live up to some societal standard.
I believe I would have missed out on life a lot more if I hadn’t pushed myself out of my comfort zone.
...If I hadn’t told my now-husband that I was done pretending that we were ‘just friends’.
...If I hadn’t followed that same husband to San Francisco because I was afraid that would be the end of my thriving career in the Netherlands.
I see it as my mission to give my clients the most loving kick-in-the-butt they need to get out of their comfort zones and start living their version of a successful life.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
On the scale from introvert to extravert, I am right in the middle. I can be very loud, love public speaking and am often the first to start dancing at a concert. But I’m equally happy curled up on the sofa with a good book and a cup of tea.
I am an ENFJ, Enneagram type 2, Human Design 5.2, and greenish yellow in DISC. And yes, I have an unhealthy obsession with personality tests.
I don’t like coffee and alcohol. That’s not some hipster lifestyle statement. I just really don’t.
I didn’t think I’d become a mom, or get married, or live abroad. I did all three, and I’m loving it.
I pride myself on being trained as an engineer, and cherish my higher-than-average intelligence, my direct communication style, and my go-getter mentality. At the same time, I am trained as a yoga teacher, and I know the importance of slowing down, and letting our heart and our gut speak. Paradoxical? Nah.. I’d rather call it perfect yin-yang balance ;)
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I REALLY NEED COACHING?
No, you don't. But if you really want to make a change, it is a whole lot easier, and more fun, to do this program.
When you've managed to read all the way through here, you've probably spend quite a bit of time thinking about how you can make a change. And you haven't found the answer.
Here's a recent quote of one of my clients that might help you answer this question: "The amount of progress I was able to make with you already in our first session was astounding. Things I've been struggling with for months if not years, are suddenly much clearer. I think it would be downright foolish not to work with you. "
IS THIS THE RIGHT PROGRAM FOR ME?

ARE YOU A CERTIFIED COACH?
Well, yes - otherwise I would probably not have added this FAQ :)
I also attended CTI's well-known leadership training.
WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START?
As this is a 1:1 coaching program, we will schedule all sessions based on your availability - meaning you can start any time that is convenient for you.
It is also possible to have more or less time in between the sessions. In general, my clients appreciate the biweekly rhythm.
HOW IS LEAD YOUR WAY DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PROGRAMS?
If you have questions about how this program is different from a specific other program you've heard of, please reach out so we can schedule a quick call to talk about the differences.
In general, what I hear from my clients is that they appreciate my extremely personalized and practical approach. I am not going to show you Powerpoints with standard leadership methods - instead I am going to give you new perspectives on situations in your everyday life, so you can practice responding differently to them that very same day.
DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH WOMEN?
The short answer: no.
However, Lead Your Way is designed for women leaders, simply because I believe that we need more women in leadership positions, and we need those women to be confident and effective.
Of course, I don't limit this program to be only for women in the biological sense of the word. If you have any questions about if this program is for you, please contact me.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A CERTAIN LEVEL OF SENIORITY IN ORDER TO SIGN UP?
No, you don't. I have experience with a range of leadership levels, and we will set your goals in line with your seniority level.
It is important that you are currently in a leadership role, as we will use your current experience as work as opportunities for learning and improving your leadership style.
WHAT IS MY INVESTMENT IN THE PROGRAM?
If you are one of the first ten participants (which you are when you are reading this and I haven't been sloppy with updating my website;)) your investment will be 495 CHF (±E450 | $530 ) instead of 1995 CHF.
CAN MY EMPLOYER PAY FOR THE FEES?
More and more employers are offering to pay for coaching or leadership programs. If this is the case for you, I can address the invoice to your employer.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM?
Besides the 1 hour coaching sessions, I recommend you to reserve about one hour per week for reflection, journalling, brainstorming etc.
Besides that, your transformation will take place as a part of your regular life. I might strategize with you on how to approach a difficult meeting, or challenge you to structure your project in a different way.
Because of that, I encourage you to see the activities you might undertake because of the coaching program as steps towards a healthier leadership style, rather than 'homework' ;)
