As I was sitting there in that hipster workshop room at Kraftwerk, I felt myself getting smaller.
The other workshop participants were writing up their sharp business podcast pitches, and all that came up for me was the highly uncomfortable idea of doing a podcast where people (including myself) would come out of their spiritual closet.
I had come to Katarina’s podcast workshop believing that I wasn’t really interested in starting a podcast, but somehow I had felt the pull to sign up anyway.
It always starts like that…
Step 1. There is something that makes me feel highly uncomfortable (like the homelessness situation in San Francisco, or women’s networks, or talking about my spiritual side);
Step 2. I end up doing something out of my comfort zone (like volunteering at a soup kitchen, or discussing with Nele if we should consider bringing the WOMEN’S HUB to Zurich on literally the first coffee date I had with her, or signing up for a podcasting workshop);
Step 3. It leads to something wildly beautiful (like Stories Behind The Fog, Nele and me founding the WOMEN’S HUB Zurich, or … let’s see…).
So here we go again, into the unknown, trusting that this too will be magical:
That seemingly harmless 2-hour workshop 1.5 years ago led Tanja and me to launch our brand new podcast Living the Unseen coming April.
With the podcast, we are embarking on a journey to break the taboo around spirituality in everyday life. Our goal is to feel a little less lost and lonely on our own spiritual journey, and to inspire our listeners through personal conversations with other spiritual seekers. You can already listen to the very first intro episode here, and sign up to be the first to know when we launch here.
We are super curious to see where this podcast journey is going to take us.
Do you want to join us on the journey? I’d love to hear what resonated with you from the first episode, and I’m always on the lookout for topics that you’d like us to cover in the upcoming episodes.
Sign up for my biweekly-ish two-minute treat emails here to receive my next story in your inbox!
