I’ve struggled with our society’s obsession with productivity for a while now. The focus on constantly improving our output, squeezing out just a bit more every day…

It just doesn’t feel very human to me. And yet, I do see that some people thrive with this approach. Recently, someone shared a metaphor with me that helped me make sense of it all, and so naturally I wanted to share that with you as well.
